Bella Pian ni

The day baby Bella was born—March 31st, 2020—will always be the most unforgettable day of my life. She weighed 3.3 kg and was the most beautiful little baby I had ever seen. As my firstborn, she was also the very first baby I ever held in my arms, and that feeling was something I can’t fully describe—pure joy and wonder. I was overwhelmed with happiness, and seeing her mom doing well brought a huge wave of relief that lifted every bit of stress and depression I had been carrying. I named her Bella, a name that felt just right for someone so precious. What amazed me even more was how naturally she took to breastfeeding, as if she already knew what to do. It was a very hard time too, as it was the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak in Mizoram, and everything felt uncertain and tense—but Bella’s arrival brought light and hope to our world.
